In winter, visitors come primarily for the excellent cross-country skiing opportunities offered by the Jura landscape. The well-marked and carefully maintained trail network around Sainte-Croix stretches over approximately 100 kilometres and connects to neighbouring networks in the canton of Neuchâtel and France.
A small ski area awaits snow sports enthusiasts on the slopes of the Chasseron, above Les Rasses. Seven lifts serve easy to intermediate runs, which are particularly suitable for families.
The region also delights with a lit slope in the heart of Sainte-Croix, where visitors can enjoy night skiing in a magical atmosphere. In Mauborget, a charming mini-family resort offers an ideal beginner slope and a toboggan run with a conveyor belt, providing fun for both children and adults.
