Davos is a winter sports metropolis for ski and snowboard fans from all over the world. Between 1124 and 2844 metres above sea level, guests have access to 54 transport facilities, 280 km of ski slopes, 132 km of cross-country ski trails, two artificial ice rinks and the new ice room. In addition, four toboggan runs provide fun. The six Davos ski areas of Parsenn, Gotschna, Jakobshorn, Pischa, Madrisa and Rinerhorn have been combined to form a winter sports arena. The centrepiece for piste lovers is the skiing mecca Parsenn with the Weissfluhjoch, which connects to the neighbouring resort of Klosters. The Jakobshorn, on the other hand, is the cult site for snowboarders with a half pipe and a monster pipe. Not to be forgotten is the nostalgic Schatzalp ski area, which also calls itself a "slow mountain" and does without artificial snow. There are three lifts leading up to the Strela Pass. Horse-drawn sleigh rides in the snow-covered side valleys are more peaceful. 111 km of winter hikin
