*** Information dated 22 February 2026 ***
The Jorasse, Bougnonne, Petit-Pré and Col sectors are open.
The Petit-Pré refreshment bar will be open from Sunday 22 February 2026.
In the Tsantonnaire sector, a new helicopter-assisted avalanche control operation took place at the end of the day on 20 February 2026. Several avalanches were triggered, some of which reached the ski lift area, which fortunately did not suffer any significant damage. The snow is sometimes almost as high as the pulleys on the pylons!
Given the amount of snow, even access for snow groomers is difficult. Work to clear the ski lift and groom the piste is continuing. Opening the ski lift is a priority.
As the situation is not stable, blasting may still be carried out at any time, including by remote control and by helicopter. Access to the ski area, outside of the open slopes and/or outside of operating hours, therefore remains strictly prohibited. We invite you to consult this bulletin regularly, as it will be updated as the situation evolves.
The avalanche danger remains high; stay on the open slopes!
Finally, free shuttles are available to take you around the resort in comfort.
We thank you for your understanding and hope you enjoy your stay in Ovronnaz :-)
OUTSIDE OPENING HOURS - ACCESS TO THE SKI AREA PROHIBITED Preventive avalanche control, preparation of slopes with grooming machines and winches: danger of death This rule also applies to slopes closed during the day.
